IDEAL HOME
It was back in 2014 that the couple first happened upon the four-bedroom, detached house. “We knew this area well and wanted to stay here,” they recall. “The day we first saw this house we also viewed six other properties but this one really stood out. Not only did it have great kerb appeal, but it had excellent proportions inside, a superb layout throughout and a nice-sized garden.” The property proved to be very popular and the couple were outbid on two occasions, but were determined to win it. “It ticked all the boxes for us and we knew how much we wanted to live here for many reasons. As such, we were happy to keep increasing our bid until we won it!”
MODERN LIVING
Since then, they have been through the property from top to bottom, improving and upgrading it and giving it a bright, fresh feel throughout. “We changed the kitchen, all the bathrooms and the heating system and everything has been redecorated at least twice,” they said. “Last year we had a garden room built behind the garages; this has been a fantastic addition to the house. We use it as a home gym, however, it could be anything new owners wished it to be, from a home office to a teenagers’ den or an artist’s studio. It is extremely private.”

CONVENIENT LOCATION
The Crownhill location of the property has been everything the couple hoped it would be. “It is just five minutes to central Milton Keynes, the hospital and the train station,” once you are at the station, you can then reach London in just 30 minutes. The road and motorway links are, of course, very good as well.” The property is also just five minutes from the local doctor’s surgery and is in the catchment area for excellent first, middle and secondary schools. “We also benefit from the Milton Keynes Redway system, which makes it very easy to walk or cycle anywhere,” they added. “Everything about living here is extremely convenient yet when you are inside the house or out in the garden you would have no idea you are so near to the centre of Milton Keynes. We are relocating now for family reasons but will miss being this close to wonderful facilities that MK offers and, of course, we will miss this house too.”
