Four of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor of the house: each has fitted wardrobes and an en suite bath or shower room. “One of the bedrooms, which has a bathroom with spa bath, is so large that people often think it is the master suite,” she says. “The main bedroom, however, is even more spacious.” This room comes with a dressing room and a stunning, elegant bathroom, complete with beautiful freestanding bath. “There is also a very useful second utility room on the first floor,” she adds. “On the floor above, we have another bedroom and bathroom, plus a very large games room.” This flexible, bonus space could have a variety of work and leisure uses or could possibly form part of a self-contained space for a nanny or au pair.

SUPERB LOCATION

The location of the house has suited the owners well. They have enjoyed strolling over to the racecourse or on to Crown land for a walk from the house. “It is also an easy drive over to the Valley Gardens or Windsor Great Park.” For shopping, they can head over to Ascot High Street or into Windsor or Bracknell. There is a good selection of independent and state schools in the area and good road and rail links to London and major airports
