Deceptively spacious four bedroom detached bungalow on approximately half acre plot in the popular friendly village of Great Totham, near Maldon
A deceptively spacious four bedroom detached bungalow on approximately half acre plot in the popular and friendly village of Great Totham. A short drive to the historic town of Maldon and less than fifteen minute drive to Witham mainline station. The property is set back from the road and almost central to the width of the plot.
Originally built in 1929, so of solid construction, over the last twenty years the current owners have taken time and effort to completely refurbish the property and added a single storey extension to the rear. With the high end and stylish finish and with the changes made this is now a lovely modern family home.
There are three double bedrooms, a generous sized single, shower room, bathroom room, utility, study, open plan kitchen / dining room leading on to the rear lounge with views onto the large garden. To the front there is ample parking for several vehicles to front and side. To the rear is a large summer house and double garage (that subject to planning could be converted into ancillary accommodation – bedroom/home office/games room). However one of the most attractive features of this home is the large rear garden and overall plot of approximately half acre.
At present the rear garden is mainly laid to lawn, which for children and dogs is possibly the perfect option but with some inspiration and creativity, with the use of colours and a variety of flowers, plants and shrubs, perhaps an area of wild flowers, then this could be turned into an amazing showpiece garden.
